A glittering career sometimes hides many a sad story beneath. Winner of the USA and World championships in hurdle events, Lolo Jones has reached her present position following many years of hard work and an enormous amount of perseverance. Jones was the sole child of a large family with five children that was raised poor. Her mother and she lived in the cellar of a church. This nomadic life forced Jones to attend a new school every year up until her first day of in high school. In Theodore Roosevelt High School, Jones was separated from her mother to explore her love of the track and field events. Her family was split up in high school so she could be able to concentrate on her academics. Jones was a part of both The Iowa School Orchestra, as well as the Gatorade Track and Field Award. She also won this award during her school days. In the first year of college, Jones proved to be one of the top hurdlers. Jones won the 100 meter hurdles in the 2002 NCAA Track & Field Championship. Additionally, she was an athlete who finished first in the 100-meter Relay event. Jones won the NCAA Indoor Hurdles tournament in the years 2003 as well as in 2004. Jones started her career in 2005 after she completed her bachelor's degree. Jones began training to prepare for a career in track. In the same year she also won in the Torino Memorial event, and in the year 2206, she was awarded the Ostrava track race as and the Heusden track event.
Brandt was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. She emigrated from Cape Town to Auckland New Zealand with her family during her teens. After being discovered by local casting directors, Brandt played the part as Naevia on the Starz smashes Spartacus: Blood and Sand as well as Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. With producers Steven S. D Knight and Sam Raimi she captivated audiences with her performance and became an one of the series' biggest starlets. She was a part of the cult Netflix series Lucifer which had a 6 year run playing the fan beloved comic book character from DC/Vertigo Mazikeen. Lesley Ann Brandt is a South African actress, born at Cape Town 2nd December 1981. She is an New Zealand actress with a large amount of talents. Lesley Brandt, along with the rest of her family, relocated in Auckland New Zealand back in 1999. After several years working in retail her promotion was to the IT Manager consultant. After modeling a couple of times, Lesley appeared in countless commercials. In 2008 she completed her studies in acting, and pursued further training in Meisner ways of studying. Her first big acting gig was in the New Zealand TV drama Diplomatic Immunity. Lesley Brandt has shown up in the New Zealand TV drama series Shortland Street as a guest performance as a support. Then she starred in This Is Not My Life that was inspired by the fictional city of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt played Naevia in the television series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The character was later reprised as the role in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.
